The perfect destination for walks or bike rides along the Sile
In the past, if the barges dominated the Sile River, oxen and farmers dominated the “restera”. The oxen dragged the barges through the metal ropes called “reste” and therefore the name “restera” was given to them. There are five of these ancient roads and they run along the Sile River from Treviso close to its ancient mouth in Portegrandi. Unique in their kind, chosen by jogging lovers, visited by couples in love, completely plunged in nature, they offer unforgettable paths along one area of the Sile River to another.
The perfect place for a walk or a bike ride that from Treviso goes to the sea, capable of calming everybody. The “restere”, with their charm and poetry are still a privileged area for lovers of nature and for the marvels that they have to offer.
